This is so wrong. Annihilator‘s Jeff Waters wrote a song for his kids. And now there is a video for it.

Greek thrashers Suicidal Angels have released a video for Beggar of Scorn, which comes from their recently released third album, Dead Again.

It’s probably a small scene in Greece, but it’s interesting to note that the directing credit goes to Bob Katsionis, the rhythm guitarist and keyboard player of Firewind.

Suicidal Angels are good old-school Euro thrash. From the little I’ve heard of them I’m liking them a lot. I might have to catch up on their discography at my local.

One of my favourite YouTubers, JGCSOUND, has posted his favourite 10 metal albums for 2010. It’s well worth a watch. He prefers darker, heavier, and more grinding stuff, and a lot of it is out of my realm of comfort, but he still does good reviews and worth checking out.

Motörhead have released a video clip for the song Get Back In Line from their upcoming album The Wörld is Yours, except Vevo have blocked its viewing in my country.

What is the purpose of doing this? If you’re promoting an upcoming album, then don’t you want everyone in the Wörld checking it out? Maybe they should rename the title of the album because they’re clearly not interested in the world, only a few segments of it. So stop being racist bastards and let the whole fucking planet look at the video.

Or does DRM stand for Digital Racism Management?

This restricting of media is really only hurting you and your profits. I was going to buy this album the day it came out, and now I’m not. So guess what?

Ratt have released a video clip for Eat Me Up Alive, which comes from their recently released album Infestation. That album is their first release in 11 years. I really should listen to it more. It’s a good hard rock album, and certainly lives up to any of their older classics.

Here’s the video for Truce from Death Angel‘s latest album, Relentless Retribution.

The video contains a corpse being cut up so may be NSFW.

Italian band Mastercastle have made a video from the title track of their debut album (released earlier this year). The track is Last Desire. It’s not a great track, but it’s not bad. I would say they’re probably traditional/hard rock with a slight lean toward power metal. The lead guitarist plays a Strat, which isn’t very metal, but his fingers dance on the fretboard pretty successfully.

The female lead singer, however, does make this video worth watching. Not that I’m a perv or anything. Hahah. Just kidding. Of course I am. Try not to mess your keyboard.

Municipal Waste have just released a new video for their song Wolves of Chernobyl. If you haven’t heard them before, their style is thrash/punk crossover. I’ve heard them called successors to the Suicidal Tendencies throne. The musical sound may be similar, but MW‘s theme is much different. They’re more of a piss-take band. Some of the stuff is hit and miss, but this isn’t bad. It may even motivate me to buy one of their CDs one of these days.
