DJ Shredder of Metal Assault Radio has done a video interview with Forbidden, the tech-thrash band who recently released the album Omega Wave. They talk about things like creating an album when the band members are across the planet, the impact of the Net on the music, and 70,000 tons of metal.

Respect to DJ Shredder for his fine taste in music. Not only does he have a Suicidal Tendencies hat, but he’s sporting a Lich King t-shirt too.

Mark Tornillo, Accept‘s new singer and the singer on their latest album Blood of the Nations does a short video interview with Rock Scene. He talks about his influences and the rock scene when he was growing up. A nice bit of insight, but I wish the damn cameraman would hold the camera still. I hate this wanky new Directard wanna-be shit.

Metal Messiah Radio have done an interview with Gus G, talking mostly about Firewind (and their just released Days of Defiance), and a bit about Ozzy. A few questions that have been repeated everywhere like how he came to be Ozzy‘s guitarist, but still worth a listen.

The Sword have been interviewed by Full Metal Jackie on her radio show. It’s only the section with The Sword which is about 6 minutes, so you don’t have to listen to her full 2 hour show.

The Sword on Full Metal Jackie

I’m still sad because they toured with Gaytallica. This saddened me because the tickets were $180 and they sold out in under 30 minutes to each show. The Warp Riders is one of my favourite albums of this year and well under-rated.

Brave Words has posted an interview talking to Sodom‘s Tom Angelripper, in which they discuss the 2nd Lords of Depravity DVD, as well as their new producer for their forthcoming album. I haven’t gone into the local music stor in a couple of weeks to see if they have it in, but I doubt they will.

Usually DVDs will only be brought in to NZ if they can move enough volume to warrant getting them rated. So I might have to import this one.

Update: Their new album is called In War and Pieces, and will be released on November 22 via SPV/Steamhammer.

I’ve been loving Grand Magus‘ new album Hammer of the North, and I will review it sometime soon. But in the meantime, here’s an interview with them. Audio quality is a bit shit and the cameraman needs to sit the fuck down, but good interview nonetheless:
